Rosalia

Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is a Spanish flamenco and pop artist. Since she was a teenager, she's been involved with the edges of both traditional and popular music. She also explores genres including hip-hop, soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela has described her vocals as being sweet, sharp but also possessing a bit of bite. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough that topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately getting an Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami, her third album was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The release date was March 20, 2022, following the performance of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish solo artist to perform on the show on Saturday Night Live. Motomami the album by Rosalia that won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to win an award for Latin Album of the Year win twice.
